Welcome to the Tdarr wiki! Feel free to contribute articles related to running Tdarr or it's plugins.

Tdarr is a self hosted web-app with powerful capabilities for managing and automating media library transcodes. In other words, with Tdarr you can automate the mass conversion of media to formats compatible with your hardware and software or to automate your library to a more modern codec such as HEVC to save disk space.

Noteable features:

  • Library statistic graphs covering items such as codecs, resolutions and health
  • Uses handbrake encoding profiles to keep it easy to learn and use
  • Parallel Hardware encoding (e.g. GPU and Plex Server)
  • Customised scheduling features
  • Customised filtering
  • Automated media Health check
  • Multi-Library support with custom settings for each
  • Library Load Balancing / Prioritisation
  • Extensive metadata search
  • Configurable resource management through innovative 'workers' sliders
  • Extensible using the Tdarr plugin system
  • Works well in the 'arr' family of apps
  • Modular and scalable so that it runs on a wide range of hardware and can be extensively customised
  • Supports Windows, MacOS, Linux & Docker
  • Unraid template included
