Remove HSTracker
Disclaimers:
- It's arguably "more useful" to just update however you normally would, and then work with bmichotte to legitimately diagnose whatever problems arise... but doing the following could still be a "last resort".
- Following these instructions will delete all of your saved decks... so make sure they're all synced on your HearthStats account if you want to easily re-import them.
- Doing all of this will also require HSTracker to re-download all of the card-art, which (if my experience is any indication) inexplicably takes way longer than it should.
Now... if you've been troubleshooting an issue, I'll assume you've already done basic system-related stuff (e.g., rebooted, disk-repaired, etc.) so let's start the destruction!
First up: open the Applications folder and trash HSTracker itself...
Next: open your hidden Library folder (not to be confused with the Root Library folder or the System Library folder) by clicking on the Go menu...
...then holding-down the option key and clicking Library...
Now the "fun" part: checking every sub-folder for HSTracker items. I currently have five, but you may find more if you've been using HSTracker for long enough...
Finally: trash all evidence that you ever used HSTracker...
Congratulations! You may now download and install again everything "from scratch", just like a first-time user! 😜
Obviously, all of this is rather remedial to the average GitHub user... but if some random visitor is browsing this Issues page in desperation, then I hope this helps.
