The end goal is to be able to directly preview specific spatial netcdf variables directly from the landing pages like this one: https://meta.icos-cp.eu/objects/LbQh7lzXx_kSDSHDBSZjjkYP

For this, the portal app needs to prepare a URL for the netcdf preview app iframe. At the moment, this works for dygraph-light previews using yAxis property in the route, but not with netcdf. Should probably rename yAxis to variable.
