Set up a custom user role on Current.org that can only access the LTW pages and projects.

  • What should this user role be called? LTW Projects Editor?
  • Should this role be able to add, edit, delete, and publish LTW projects or only do some of those?

can only access the LTW pages and projects.

  • Does this mean they need to be able to also edit the landing page for the form and projects landing page?

  • That name makes sense to me!
  • Add, edit, delete, and publish for now is fine
  • If possible, yes, but I did let them know that may be tricky.

Long story short: Running into an issue with creating a custom user role here. The new custom user role works fine except it's not able to view the featured image on projects due to it not having the edit_posts cap, which we don't want, which is apparently a bug in WP

Updating to WP 5.4.2 fixes the issue 🤪
