Is this project actively maintained?

This project is something I'm doing in my spare time, and sadly don't always have the time to work on it. Feel free to contribute or donate.

Why is the project licensed under MPL 2.0?

I want the project to be available open-source and commercial use while also retain the rights of my work, and having broad compatibility with other licenses. I believe that MPL 2.0 covers most if not all of these cases better than any other license.

I have a suggestion!

Cool, but its likely I won't do anything with it unless I need the thing you suggest, as the project is mostly build on things I need rather than what others need. Feel free to make an issue for it that follows the guidelines.

Why did I choose this project name?

It's a reference to the fantastic game called NieR: Automata, made by platinum games. If you got the time, please give the game a try.
