I've just sourced a used Kano raspberry pi 3 kit, which my son is very excited about.
We've put it all together, and it's working and booting fine, but in the start-up routine we're struggling to get past the mouse setup.
We get to the screen saying "Look... an arrow! Use it to click on the circles"
My mousepad and click button are definitely working, because I can click on the circle, and I see it "explode".
At that point I'd expect to either be able to move on, or to see another circle appear (because the prompt says "circles").
But neither of those 2 things happen. I'm just left hanging on the screen with the "Look... an arrow! Use it to click on the circles" prompt, and an animation showing a pointer on the trackpad then a pointer on the click button.
Any ideas?

For what it's worth, I sorted it by just connecting to a bigger screen than the built-in one that came with the kit. Then a 2nd circle appeared after I'd clicked the first.
Just out of interest, I'm going to flash the kano with an upgraded OS, and see if they fixed this bug in the setup in later versions of the os.
