Does this project have an open-source license? I see the MIT license applies to folio, is this the case for web and keittio too?

hey! the web and kitchen repositories currently have no explicit license which means that all rights are retained. however, this is mostly because we've never bothered to select a fitting license. how would you feel about a GPL license? what's your use-case like?

GPL sounds perfectly good! My own use case is a small-scale fork for the Jyväskylä campus restaurants, mostly for personal use by my SO and me (with a couple added meal attributes and parsers)

nice! if you're interested in contributing, i'd also be happy to just accept the necessary changes into the official repositories and add Jyväskylä as an additional area to kanttiinit.fi?

Thank you, I didn't want to bother you with maintaining the Jyväskylä data, haha! Upstreaming the required changes could be interesting, I should look into it in the future as well. It is possible some of the diet restrictions are quite specific to us, so I wonder if they will be a good fit.

i've been thinking about moving most of the data to version control, only leaving the menus in the database. this way we could use github's features to edit it: via pull requests and by adding members to the kanttiinit org. alternatively, we could also give someone (you?) access to maintain the Jyväskylä data directly via our current admin interface.

in the meantime, i've now added the GPL license to both the web and kitchen repositories.

let me know if i can help with anything! would really love to see the official kanttiinit app expand to other cities in Finland :)
