i have compiled and installed wine6.3, moltenvk 1.2.171, and also dxvk 1.7.
it works, my games start and play more or less the same as when i use crossover/wineskin.
but, in the log i noticed this:
info: DXVK: v1.7
.. so far go good..
[mvk-info] MoltenVK version 1.1.3, supporting Vulkan version 1.1.171.
... then a few lines below that:
[mvk-info] Created VkInstance for Vulkan version 1.1.0, as requested by app, with the following 3 Vulkan extensions enabled:
despite the fact i'm using a more recent version of moltenvk and dxvk, it seems moltenvk cap itself at creating only a 1.1.0 instance. is there a way to force it to bump it up a little ? i would like to try and test it creating 1.1.1 and then 1.1.2 for example, and see what changes that brings.
by the way if there's anyone else interested i could share my compiled dxvk 1.7, ready to install with winetricks. it's just that unless i can make moltenvk to create an higher version instance it doesn't change a thing in practice if dxvk is the usual 1.5.1 or 1.7 the result is the same.
