Way to back up snapshots #717

It sounds like maybe this could be difficult because the snapshots are stored in the configuration and not per dataset, right? I guess we could just copy the configuration? I will think about it more. |

Is there a way to save and restore snapshot information, sort of like how we do for annotations? Serializing into JSON and then reloading maybe? Or is this better done by just backing up the whole database?
