isn't it neccessary to connect this client with my RIPE ATLAS account ?

Software probes only connect once you register their public key - which needs an account on the RIPE Atlas website. So yes, these two are connected.

I added it to the README.md within the Requirements :)
You need an Account @ ripe.net and register the Probe with this Link https://atlas.ripe.net/apply/swprobe/
