More Traditions - Reborn

The development version of this mod will be updated in real-time on GitHub. If you want to play the latest development rather than the stable version, you can get the latest commit using the git pull command on the GitHub repository.

It is compatible with the latest 3.13 version. If you are still playing version 3.12 or earlier, you can get the push record of historical versions on GitHub and manually restore to that version.

The latest More Traditions mod has been updated and adapted to version 3.12, thanks to the adoption of some of my code by player "星劫". This is an exciting event for a player who loves the More Traditions mod. The new More Traditions mod has improved almost all the exciting content, and it seems that no further updates are needed to adapt to new versions. Therefore, this mod will focus on improving the More Traditions mod experience.

Adjustments compared to the Extra Traditions mod

Artifact Actions

  • [Adjustment] Artifact Traditions: "National Appreciation," "High-Profile Exhibition," and "Pioneer Experience" have had their durations adjusted to 10 years. Additionally, they will immediately grant a certain amount of unity and influence (similar to the original game's artifact action decisions).
  • [Adjustment] The cost of artifact actions has been increased tenfold, in line with the update for version 3.7.

Crisis Ascension

  • [New] Introduced the "Avatar of Catastrophe" ascension, which combines the effects of both the "Become the Crisis" and "Cosmogenesis" ascensions. As a result, the effects of "Become the Crisis" and "Cosmogenesis" ascensions have been removed, but selecting "Avatar of Catastrophe" still requires both ascensions as prerequisites.
    • Note: In future updates, a new tradition option is planned, allowing the incompatible ascensions in the base game to be chosen together.

Agendas

  • [New] Added corresponding agendas for the Gaia, Nurturing, Miniaturization, Star Wars, and Pursuit of Truth traditions.

Planet Decisions

  • [Adjustment] "Unified Effort" from the Synergy tradition no longer has a time limit. Instead, it becomes active when enabled and lasts until canceled. Canceling "Unified Effort" will cost 100 influence, and you will lose 1 influence per population on the planet.

Edicts

  • [New] Introduced the Control Hub menu, which allows special training, fleet mobilization, event triggers, and more options through the menu.

Jobs

  • [Adjustment] Modified the resources produced by elite jobs.

Situations

  • [New] Selecting the Miniaturization tradition will trigger the Energy Miniaturization situation, which will unlock corresponding technologies as the situation progresses. As a result, the Miniaturization tradition will no longer directly grant technologies.

Species Rights

  • [New] After unlocking the ascension that allows assimilation, any species can be assimilated into your primary species.
    • Note: In future updates, a corresponding tradition is planned, which will be required to unlock unrestricted assimilation.

Traditions

  • Ideology Tradition

    • [Adjustment] Selecting the Ideology tradition no longer requires having the corresponding ideology, but instead increases its attraction.
  • Nurturing

    • [New] Special Nurturing has been updated to support the new leader traits introduced in version 3.8.
    • [New] Special Nurturing allows you to select two new leader types: Legendary Leader and the Brilliant Legendary Genius.
      • Note: This is an unbalanced modification. The Genius Leader, Legendary Leader, and Brilliant Legendary Genius are extremely powerful given the broken leader stats in the vanilla 3.8 version. Use with caution if seeking a balanced experience.
  • Miniaturization

    • [New] Added L-slot Miniaturized Arc Emitters and Miniaturized Energy Lances.
    • [New] Completing the Miniaturization tradition unlocks the T-slot Glorious Energy Emitter.
  • Traditions with Prerequisites (Star Wars, Pursuit of Truth, Gaia)

    • [Adjustment] These traditions will now appear in the tradition menu even if the prerequisites are not met, but cannot be selected until the conditions are fulfilled.
  • Ascension-Related Traditions (Modification, Breeding, Psionics)

    • [New] Upon completing these traditions, the Control Menu will provide options to trigger the corresponding ascension events, allowing players to repeatedly trigger/cancel the Synthetic, Robotic, Genetic, and Psionic ascensions and related events/situations.
  • Capital Tradition

    • [New] After moving or losing your capital, the buffs from the Capital Tradition will automatically transfer to your new capital on the 1st of each year.

Species Traits

  • [Adjustment] Artificial Psionics/Specialized Cybernetic traits can now be added to robotic and synthetic populations.
  • [Adjustment] Artificial Psionics/Specialized Cybernetic traits can be freely applied in species templates.

Localization

  • Native support for Chinese.
  • The English localization has been completed. If you find any issues with the English translation, please feel free to provide feedback.

Ongoing issue fixes

I have noticed some issues during gameplay, some of which have been fixed, but some have not yet been adjusted. If you find any other bugs/issues, feel free to provide feedback in the comments and I will fix them as soon as possible.

Compatibility with other mods

The More Traditions mod is excellent. If you want it to collaborate with other mods, or if you want to fix conflicts or adjust the playability of other mod contents, please feel free to provide feedback. For example, for players of the Real Space mod, the range of all weapons has been adjusted to adapt to the new galaxy proportion except for miniaturized arc emitters/javelins/glorious energy emitters.

If you need to make more traditional mods compatible with other excellent mods, please leave a message and we will provide compatibility support.

额外传统 - 重制版

最新的额外传统已经应对3.12版本进行了更新,并且感谢星劫大大采用了我的一部分代码,对于一个非常喜欢额外传统MOD的玩家来说实在是一件令人激动的事。新的额外传统MOD几乎完美地改进了所有令人兴奋的内容,似乎已经不再需要应对新版本进行特殊化的更新。因此,本MOD将会针对于额外传统MOD的体验改进。

相对于额外传统MOD的调整

文物行动

  • [调整] 文物传统:全民鉴赏、文物传统:高调展览、文物传统:先驱经验的持续时间修改为10年,且会立即获得一定量凝聚力、影响力(如同原本游戏的文物行动决策)。
  • [调整] 文物行动的花费调整为原MOD的十倍(适配3.7版本的更新)。

天灾飞升

  • [新增] 添加了“化身天灾”飞升,同时拥有“星海天罚”与“宇宙创生”的飞升效果,因此移除了“星海天罚”和“宇宙创生”的飞升效果,但在选择“化身天灾”飞升前,仍需要同时选择“星海天罚”与“宇宙创生”飞升作为前置需求。
    • 注意:后续版本更新计划设计一种新的传统选项,使得原版游戏中不兼容的飞升可以同时选择。

议程

  • [新增] 为盖亚、培养、微缩、星战、追求真理传统增加了相对应的议程。

星球决策

  • [调整] 齐心传统:同心协力不再有持续时间限制,而是在启用时即生效,直到取消。移除同心协力将会花费100影响力,且对于星球上的每个人口都会失去1影响力。

法令

  • [新增] 添加了控制中枢菜单,可以在菜单中选择特殊培养、召集舰队、触发事件等操作。

岗位

  • [调整] 修改了精英岗位生产的资源。

局势

  • [新增] 选择微缩传统后会触发能量微型化局势,根据局势进展解锁对应的科技。相对应,微缩传统不会再直接给予科技。

物种权利

  • [新增] 在完成解锁同化的飞升后,可以将任何物种同化为自己的主族物种。
    • 注意:计划在后续更新时增加对应的传统,完成后才能够解锁无限制同化的功能。

传统

  • 思潮传统

    • [调整] 选择思潮传统不再需要拥有对应的思潮,修改为增加对应思潮的吸引力。
  • 培养

    • [新增] 特殊培养增加了适配3.8版本全新领袖特质的属性。
    • [新增] 特殊培养可以选择两种新的领袖类型:传奇领袖和大放异彩的传奇天才。
      • 注意:不平衡的改动,天才领袖、传奇领袖、大放异彩的传奇天才在3.8原版领袖数值崩坏的情况下过于强势,仅供参考使用,追求代入感的玩家可以选择不使用特殊培养。
  • 微缩

    • [新增] 增加了L槽位的微缩电弧发射器与微缩光矛。
    • [新增] 微缩传统完成将解锁T槽位的辉煌能量发射器。
  • 需要前提条件的传统(星战、追求真理、盖亚)

    • [调整] 在未达成前提条件时也会显示在传统界面中,但不可采用。
  • 对应飞升的传统(改造、育种、通灵)

    • [新增] 完成传统后将会在控制菜单中增加获得相应飞升事件的选项,可以重复触发/取消义体、机械、基因、灵能飞升的局势/事件。
  • 首都传统

    • [新增] 当首都迁移或者丢失首都之后,将会每年一号自动将首都传统的BUFF迁移至新首都。

人口特质

  • [调整] 人工通灵/特殊义体特质可以给机器人口与合成人口添加。
  • [调整] 人工通灵/特殊义体特质可以随意在模板中应用。

  • 原生支持中文。
  • 英文本地化翻译已经完成,如果您在英文翻译中发现了问题,欢迎进行反馈。

仍在修复中的问题

目前在游玩过程中我留意到了一些问题,其中一部分进行了修复,但其中另一部分尚未来得及进行调整。如果您发现了其他的漏洞/BUG/问题,欢迎在评论区进行反馈,我会尽快修复。

与其他MOD的兼容性

额外传统MOD是一个优秀的MOD,如果您想让它与其他优秀的MOD进行协作,或是针对其他的MOD中的内容进行冲突性修复、可玩性调整,同样欢迎反馈。例如对于Real Space的玩家,所有武器的射程都应对新的星系比例进行了调整,而微缩电弧/光矛/辉煌能量发射器却未被调整。
