When developers (notably Samsung) offer widgets with transparency settings, they often automatically calculate the contrast between text and background to determine if the widget should use white text or black text. This creates issues in Kvaesitso when using a light theme with a dark background, as the widgets will use this dark background to determine that white text is the most readable. In reality, the widget should be using the card to calculate the ideal text colour.
I have a feeling there is not a way to fix this, since the wallpaper is a system level thing that permutates between launchers. And you can't easily “trick” the widgets into calculating the text contrast. I thought I would make an issue request regardless, as I have not seen anyone else have this issue.
See the attached images, the light theme having the text issue while the dark theme shows correct behaviour.
