ThingWorx Widget with MapmyIndia APIs

Easy To Integrate Maps & Location APIs & SDKs For Web & Mobile Applications

Powered with India's most comprehensive and robust mapping functionalities. Now Available for Srilanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh

  1. You can get your api key to be used in this document here: https://www.mapmyindia.com/api/signup

  2. Copy and paste the JavaScript API key from your dashboard (http://www.mapmyindia.com/api/dashboard) in the sample code for interactive map development

  3. The sample code is provided to help you understand the very basic functionality of MapmyIndia APIs working with ThingWorx.

Introduction

This widget can be integrated with Thingworx platform. It provide MapmyIndia Javascipt Map API features like

  1. Plot markers
  2. Plot polygons
  3. Plot polylines: two polyline samples,
    • One for planned route
    • The other for traveled/actual route.
  4. Plot circles

Other features: That it can support are

  1. Tooltips
  2. Notifications

How to use

  • Unzip the widget MapmyIndia_Widgets_Extension.zip.
  • Now, open metadata.xml and replace <api_key> with MapmyIndia map key.
  • ZIP it again.
  • Now, import the widget in Thingworx and use with mashup.
