The switch from GenCS I (fall) to GenCS II (spring) will be a great opportunity to test the PantaRhei set up. Here are the issues I see.

we need a new instance for the general course
we can auto-subscribe the new set of students.
the course forum in the new instance should have all courses at the general/system level (see course/system-level forum postings #7) but not the ones from the last course.
We should discuss all of these issues here first, so that we can make a clean switchover.
