1.18.2 Cities stop generating entirely past a certain point

Ive literally seen cities generate just around spawn but i traveled thousands of blocks in each direction not finding a single city
I used the default preset

That's a vague report. I need more information. What version? What other mods? How exactly did you create the world? Single player or multiplayer?
