Is there a way to smooth EdgePath?

I used the Edge Selector to get the EdgePath, whether there is a smooth function for EdgePath or for PolyLine.

Looks like this question is more about MeshInspector, anyway:

1. After you finish selection you should see selected edges:
   
2. Then go to "Select" tab and open tool "Select Component" (only work if EdgePath is closed)
   
3. Then go to "Mesh" "Smooth Region Boundary"
   
   

Or you can try to use "Inspect"/"Geodesic Path" tool

It seems to have a smooth effect.
And how is the Edge Selector in MeshInspector implemented in c++?
I guess it used the buildShortestPath function, but I'm not sure how to set the Curvature Preference option.

You are right, in MeshInspector it is buildShortestPath but with different metrics
