Hi,
for a few days now I've been having an error with IEChooser to view code from Edge in IE mode. the problem lies in the fact that, having launched IEChooser and selected the tab of my interest [immage1] , the tool does not open and the icon remains black [immage2].
How can i fix? Do you know a way to restore?

I tried both the 32 and 64 bit versions as the guide said:
Launch the F12 development tools that corresponds to your version of Office.
For the 32-bit version of Office, use C:\Windows\System32\F12\IEChooser.exe
For the 64-bit version of Office, use C:\Windows\SysWOW64\F12\IEChooser.exe
IEChooser opens with a window named Choose target to debug.

I have Win11 and my version of Edge is 115.0.1901.203.
I can't broadcast the site url as it is protected by my organization.

Select the Tab:
261580917-48c26719-28c1-436b-9ea5-8768fbf73814

Tool does not open:

Thanks a lot for reaching out and filing this issue. I just tried on my computer and it worked fine for me, so this will require some thorough investigation to reproduce the issue and find what's wrong.
I'll mark this up for our team to investigate.

Hi, Could anyone help me?

Sorry about this. The bug has been created internally and assigned to the right team at Microsoft. So it's definitely active, but it's going to take some time. I'll make sure to report any progress here.

I can only advise the following solutions in the meantime, which I'm not sure are feasible for you, or would work:

has your problem been settled

For information, our team in charge of IEChooser did investigate and found that the problem did not exist anymore with newer versions. It would be great if you could test again and confirm that the issue is gone.

I can open IEChooser through administrator mode. But always debug mode. I can't use element selection and view page elements etc. How to close debug mode.

I'm sorry I'm not quite sure what "debug mode" is. Can you please explain in more details? Adding a screenshot here would help a lot too.
