What happened?

I have installed Microsoft.Web.WebView2 1.0.2592.51 into my existing project in VS Community 2017 (version 15.9.60), and it shows as installed and appears in the list of project references, but I cannot get it to appear in the toolbox.

I've checked this, it's correct: "In Visual Studio 2017, by default, WebView2 isn't displayed in the Toolbox. To enable WebView2 to be displayed in the Toolbox, select Tools > Options > General > and set the Automatically Populate Toolbox setting to True."

I've rebuilt the solution, closed and re-opened VS, but still no luck.

Importance

Moderate. My app's user experience is affected, but still usable.
