@robwierzbowski posting this here in case you want to check out a real-world use case of your in-progress API. Nice work, by the way! So far it's noticeably faster than the old method.

In case the APIs change, will you please let me know so I can update it here?

Sure. There may be API changes before the PR is finished. I'm currently retooling the build to work in the browser first and foremost and then have that js loaded into node, so we share a codebase between site/browser build sys and node build sys.
