Sounds like #88 which we probably can't do anything about.

I don't understand what you are talking about?

You are talking about the fact that not quite all bookmarks show up in bookmarks toolbar, right? If not, then please explain what the issue is.

I even installed version 1.30 of PortaBale
it still doesn't display completely, but when I click on the bookmark buttons, they are visible there as I showed in the screenshot
maybe there is some version of Firefox where this works?

As described in the issue #88 linked above, on some systems some bookmarks don't show up if you have many bookmarks in the toolbar. But the amount of how many can successfully be shown depends of your system. That has something to do with how Firefox loads them, but there isn't really anything I can do about it - at least nothing I know of.

As far as I know, nothing really has changed about this behavior in at least 15 years.

Was it always like this? People write that it works for them? It worked for me too and after adding a couple of bookmarks everything immediately went wrong for me too now even in the latest version nothing is visible please upload a working file for the latest version or give me your contact

It was always like this. Also, "Nothing is visible" cannot be right, because your screenshot shows there to be about 3.5 rows of bookmarks, but the rest are not visible. That cut-off point seems to be system dependent though and my best guess is that it has to do with how fast Firefox is able to load the bookmark data from disk at startup. That guess might be incorrect, but as far as I am aware, nobody has ever been able to figure out a better explanation.

It is pretty interesting that adding a "a couple of bookmarks" caused a sudden change in behavior but that doesn't really help a whole lot to fix this.

So as it stands, there isn't anything I can do about this and a proper fix to this would likely require a change to how Firefox populates bookmarks toolbar. So it would require a change to Firefox - not to custom style rules.
