I should be able to add a 3-letter alias for each cluster, and these should appear in the overview hotbar IN ADDITION to having the arn somewhere else. I should not have to edit / overwrite the AWS arn in ~/.aws/config in order to rename a cluster. The current technique for defaulting the names of clusters does not work. All of our aws clusters are given a default name of "AUG" because the ARNs begin with aws-us-gov-west or aws-us-gov-east (A-U-G-W/E), this default-naming algorithm is broken. But more importantly, I want the cluster aliases to be stored someplace outside the ~/.aws/config file, trying to edit the file to fix cluster aliases is a recipe for disaster, and every time I have to rebuild that file I lose all my aliases, so storing the aliases there is a mistake.
Please use helvetica narrow, expand the hotbar a little bit, and allow 4 letters per cluster name.
Please bring back 20+ clusters per hotbar page, there is absolutely no reason to limit the number to 11. It used to work correctly; a recent release of lens limited us to 11 icons per page for no apparent reason. My whole company has 20 clusters and so limiting us to 11 needlessly is a productivity killer. There is no need for a scrollbar; For lens to be useful it needs to have enough vertical space for at least 16-18 icons, below that, Lens is not useful.
