  • Keras (w/ theano backend) doesn't support model weight conversion to other frameworks (pytorch, tensorflow, onnx, etc.)
  • Original theano has been deprecated
  • deepMask source code is already in pytorch
  • pytorch has native support for Mx Apple Silicon (cpu+gpu) and ROCm platforms
