Brainstorm was one of the earlier tools that had added support for NWB. If I remember correctly, it had (temporarily) dropped NWB support because of issues with supporting different versions of NWB in MatLab. Great to see that Brainstorm supports NWB again. It's a powerful tool.
I just tested Brainstorm again and can confirm that it can indeed read NWB files with ephys data. However, besides visualizing the data, I cannot get Brainstorm to do anything on the data, such as spike sorting, lfp filtering, or computing spike triggered averages. I reported this here https://neuroimage.usc.edu/forums/t/cannot-run-spike-sorting-ephys-tutorials/43182
It looks like Brainstorm chokes when it encounters neurodata types that it is not familiar with, like an ImageSeries: . I tried with several NWB files from different dandisets.
We might need to work with them to improve support before listing Brainstorm on the overview page.
Thomas pointed out this tool for us https://neuroimage.usc.edu/brainstorm/Introduction
Apparently it can read NWB files!
