Before raising any issues or feature requests, please read the following.
This is a stable product. Ever since the original author, Francisco Javier Rosales García, stopped maintaining it, shc has remained stable for over 20 years, with only few exceptions. This means,
This is a product with no current owner or champion and support, unless someone steps forward, and it'll most likely remain so for the foreseeable future. The only "exceptions" that shc get improvements were people scratching their own itches, and this is likely to remain so in future as well.
In other words, any issues or feature requests will most likely be ignored, unless they come with high quality fixes. In such cases, there may be kind-hearted people who review and take action. The higher quality the PRs are, the better the chances of them being approved.
So, once again, any questions, issues or feature requests will most likely be ignored, this is not a warning but a disclaim and policy, unless someone steps forward to take ownership of this product. That being said, having a permanent home in a public GitHub organization will hopefully encourage more people to contribute to the joint maintenance of shc.
