I ended up having to remove the proxy host that I had setup in Nginx Proxy Manager, re-add it and then the DNS challenge SSL certificate worked. Not really sure the issue. When this occurred we were on a previous version 2.11.x or 2.10x I think. We are now on 2.12.1 and that's when I re-added the proxy site and things started working. |

I have nginx-proxy-manager running in a docker image on a synology nas. I have a let's encrypt certificate setup using the DNS Challenge method with Godaddy. I was able to initially create this certificate a few months ago but it will not renew now.
I get the following error message
CommandError: Saving debug log to /tmp/letsencrypt-log/letsencrypt.log Unsafe permissions on credentials configuration file: /etc/letsencrypt/credentials/credentials-4 Some challenges have failed.
I can see the file under the synology file station but I'm not sure how to fix this. I'm assuming permissions need to be set different? Can anyone help guide me on what needs to be done?
