Delete

Command + delete

Empty Trash

Command + Shift + delete

Cut / Paste / Cut & Paste

Command + C

Preview File

1、select a any kinds of file

2、press the Space key

Hide & Show the sidebar

Command + Option + S

Show Hidden Files

Command + Shift + .

Show the Position of the Current Folder

Command + Option + P

This shortcut will let finder show the path to the current folder at the bottom of the finder.

Instantly Put Multiple Files in a New Folder

1、select the files with the Command key pressed

2、use Command + Control + N to create the new folder, the selected files will be putted in the new folder automaticaly.

Jump to a Specific Folder

1、Command+Shift+C: top-level system folder

2、Command+Shift+D: Desktop

3、Command+Shift+H: Home folder

4、Command+Option+L: Downloads folder

Rename a file/folder

1、select the file

2、press the Enter button
