The difference plots, e.g.

are quite hard to modify for insertion into powerpoint slides (which is likely to be their primary use case). Could they be made into landscape plots instead?

So three plots side-by-side? Or the two absolute plots on top and the diff-plot in the middle underneath? @rosiealice

Either would work I think. Would the former have a greater information density?

as in the least white space?

Yes, less white space per area of plot, but it would be a very wide thing. (It's easier to do the side-by-side though)
