I think I know what you mean.
The selector button and text lingers for a bit then fades away.
Reduce the "Fade speed" in "Menu Look" tab.

Describe the bug
Hii, Iam using openshell start menu.. its working great.. thing is that, whenever we are clicking on any start menu item like MyPC, My documents, My Pictures, settings or anything, its name flashes for a while (a shadow like thing with the item name) in the background and the item opens. could you please explain why this happens

Area of issue
Start menu
To reproduce
click on start-- click on any item-- item name flashes a while in the background and opens it.. can this small delay in opening item be avoided?
Expected behavior
clicking any item inside the start menu opens it immediately, without any delay like flashing for a while etc (like the original wn10 startmenu).
Open-Shell version
4.4.191
Windows version
Windows 10 22H2
