Steps to reproduce

  1. Open app

Actual behaviour

The app crashes
If I try to start it from the terminal, it fails with the following message: Mapper: error while loading shared libraries: libtiff.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
It should be noted that the libtiff library in my distro includes the file libtiff.so.6, so that may explain why the app fails to find the file.

Expected behaviour

The app should open...

Configuration

Mapper Version: 0.9.5
Operating System: Manjaro Linux

Which package did you install? We don't provide specific downloads for Manjaro.

Hi, thank you for the response.
Manjaro is based on Arch, so the packages are the same. To the point, I added your repo (home_dg0yt_Arch_Community) and installed "openorienteering-mapper" ver. 0.9.5.0 from there. It used to work, but, as it seems, one of the updates in Manjaro (which is a rolling release) updated the libtiff library (and perhaps other ones) and caused the app to crash upon startup with the message I quoted.
