Not compatible with ZIP code

The new middleware we developed could be really helpful for the whole voting process, including when users enter their ZIP codes. But right now, it's not working as it should. The problem is that users get disconnected every time they leave the voting booth. The ZIP code step happens outside the voting booth, so when users get to this part, they're already disconnected.
To make the voting experience smooth and to get the most out of the middleware, we need to fix this disconnection problem. We have to find a way to keep users connected throughout the entire voting process, even when they're not in the voting booth.
