[BUG]-4 series version has issues with TLS certificates

Describe the bug
4-series build versions seem to enforce certificate authority and as a result when the WSS connection attempt is made, it fails with a 1015 error. The same build compile for 3-series does not have this issue.

Did the close message say which side failed the certificate check?

@andrew-welker I don't recall seeing any detail about that in the stack trace. We would have to mock up and recreate the issue I think. My bad for not copying the console output to this issue 🤦‍♂️
