Env Variable not getting detected

Several People are having issues with the init function of the funcs class as the path to their settings file is stored under the variable name path which the system can sometimes overwrite. For right now I am going to put a change into the dev-builds branch with a changed variable name that is not used by the system. Other solutions could be to use a custom env variable with a package or to use a hard coded path like was done in previous version where the setup script would write in a variable value for the path.

If all else fails, use the following code and pass the path to the main file:

At the moment this bug is currently fixed in the dev-builds branch.
