Licensing

Code in this repository carries the Apache v2 license (reproduced in LICENSE-code.txt).

Data in this repository comes from other sources and carries the licenses assigned by the original authors. This includes:

  1. data/ne_10m_admin_0_countries
    Free for use without permission, no attribution required (though welcomed). See data/ne_10m_admin_0_countries/LICENSE.txt or the author's site at http://www.naturalearthdata.com/about/terms-of-use/.

  2. data/Beck_KG_V1
    Requires attribution, see data/Beck_KG_V1/LICENSE.txt or the author's site at http://www.gloh2o.org/koppen/.

  3. data/ucl_elie
    Requires attribution, see data/ucl_elie/LICENSE.txt or the author's site at http://maps.elie.ucl.ac.be/CCI/viewer/download.php.

  4. data/geomorpho90m
    Requires attribution, see data/geomorpho90m/LICENSE.txt. MERIT-DEM from which Geomorpho90m was generated is dual licensed CC-BY-NC-4.0 or ODbl-1.0, at the user's choice.

  5. data/FAO (for soil workability and slope data)
    Requires attribution, see data/FAO/LICENSE.txt.
