Note from the Creator Hello, welcome to the Quickplay Wiki! Whether you just installed the mod or are a long-time user coming to check out the features you may be unaware of, thank you for installing Quickplay. This wiki is always developing. If you have anything to add, contact me on the Quickplay Discord!

What is Quickplay?

Quickplay is a free-to-download open-source Minecraft mod built for quickly navigating and getting yourself around the Hypixel Network. What initially started out as bugfroggy's first Minecraft modification with a boring GUI has now evolved into one of the most used Minecraft mods on the Hypixel Network with tens of thousands of users.

This wiki is currently a WIP, but here is a temporary FAQ:

How do I change the default keybind from the R key?

Forge and Hyperium

If you want to change your Quickplay Main Menu keybind in Forger or Hyperium, you can do so by doing /qp keybinds, clicking on the "Open Main GUI" button, and then pressing the key you want to bind it to. This GUI can also be accessed via /qp config and then clicking on the "Edit Keybinds..." button.

Badlion Client

If you want to change your Quickplay Main Menu keybind on the Badlion Client, you can do so by opening your Minecraft Controls menu and scrolling down to "Badlion: Quickplay".

How do I add favorites?

Forge and Hyperium

If you wish to bind a game's GUI or a game's mode to a key in Forger or Hyperium, you can do so by right-clicking the game or mode and then clicking "Bind to key...". You can then click the new button that was added to the keybinds list and press the key you wish to assign it to.

Badlion Client

If you wish to rebind a game's mode to a key on the Badlion Client, you can do so by opening said game's GUI and clicking on the "NONE" text next to the button you'd like to bind. In Badlion Client, it is not possible to bind GUIs to keys at the moment.

How do I get rid of/move the text at the top of my screen displaying where I am?

This is referred to as "Instance Display". You can toggle it or change different properties of it by doing /qp config and then scrolling down to the "Instance Display" section.

The game x is not on quickplay, can you please add it?

Quickplay takes advantage of the /play command on Hypixel. Most games have their specific play command, however not all of them do, and that might be the case for the game you're mentioning. It is also possible that the command was added, or a game was added/removed, and we didn't notice. If you find a game that is not currently in Quickplay, or think something needs to be changed, please contact Rodry#4020 or bugfroggy#8091 on Discord.

What's the difference between Quickplay and Quickplay Premium?

Nothing much at the moment. More is planned for the future, but the biggest difference at the moment is Quickplay Glyphs. More features & information at https://bugg.co/quickplay/premium/

What's a Quickplay Glyph/What's that Glyph over your head?

Quickplay Glyphs are similar to 5zig capes, but instead of an image on a cape, it's an image floating above your head. These Glyphs are visible to anyone using a Quickplay version >= 2.0.0-beta.4, but you can only have your own if you own Quickplay Premium.

How do I get Premium?

Quickplay Premium costs $5.00 for life, but there is a free 7 day trial at https://bugg.co/quickplay/premium/trial/. Install both the Quickplay Premium .jar AND the normal Quickplay .jar, otherwise you will get an error. If you install the Premium.jar and don't have premium, nothing will happen.

I have Premium, how do I create a Glyph?

To start creating your Glyph, you have to 1) have Quickplay Premium .jar installed and 2) authorize yourself. To Authorize yourself, do /qp premium auth <APIToken>. After that, you can set the image of your Glyph by doing /qp premium glyph set <imageURL>. The image will take up to 10 minutes to start displaying for others. After 10 minutes, any clients that start up will see your Glyph (this means that you'll have to restart to see your own Glyph).

N.B.1: If you already have a Glyph and try modifying it, Quickplay will attempt to update your Glyph to display the changes, but this doesn't always work. Note that this doesn't mean the changes apply immediately for others though, and it's simply a preview of what it'll look like after the 10 minutes pass.

N.B.2: You are able to change various settings with the Glyph such as the height and size. At the moment you cannot change whether the glyph will display in-game or not due to concerns with the rules, but that is planned.

N.B.3: Make sure the link you provide is valid. THIS is not a valid link: https://imgur.com/XFEyvEA If you right-click the image and click "Copy image address", that is a valid link (https://i.imgur.com/XFEyvEA.jpg).

N.B.4: Images must be either a .png, .jpg, or .jpeg and under 500kb in size. Any image that is not square will be stretched to fit a square. Transparency is allowed in images.

N.B.5: Your authorization will be reset whenever you restart your client. This is for your own security. If you restart your client and wish to edit your glyph later, you will have to do /qp premium auth again.
