Hi there, I'm a software engineer primarily focused on the energy maps project, and I help out with other viz projects at RDCEP as well. I focus a lot on refactoring, improving performance, cleaning up code, and extending features implemented by others. I prefer a servant leadership approach, and my goal is to dial in and advance project goals as much as possible. I'm a glutton for documentation and do a bit of project management as well. I am very excited to bring more people into our open source projects when the time comes! Near-term goals include creating an API and database for this app, implementing a cookie to persist user preferences, and possibly helping with some degree of design overhaul if justifiable. I am currently putting energy towards a UI Audit as well. |
