Short version:
Make sure that OSLib has been seen.
Make sure that zlib is exported.
Run Mk to build the SQLite library.
Run MkShell to build the command-line shell.
Long version:
SQLite uses an "amalgamation" where many separate files are combined into a
single C source file. See https://www.sqlite.org/amalgamation.html for
details.
This port uses the same idea. There is a little utility called "amalgamate"
which takes the untouched SQLite amalgamation, and copies in the
RISC OS-specific stuff from the os_riscos file.
When you run Mk it'll automatically run amalgamate then build the
amalgamated version.
MkShell uses the MakeShell makefile to build the shell. I suspect that it's
probably possible to get this all working from a single makefile using
multiple targets, but I'm not an AMU expert. If anyone can advise how to get
this working then I'm all ears.
The shell relies on zlib. This isn't supplied with the DDE, so you will need
to put it in the Export.APCS-32.Lib directory yourself.
The c directory contains the following files:
amalgamate - The code for the amalgamation utility
os_riscos - The RISC OS-specific "VFS" for SQLite
shell - The command-line shell, with RISC OS-specific tweaks
sqlite3-in - The untouched sqlite3.c file from the official SQLite
distribution
sqlite3 - The resulting amalgamation (after running Mk or amalgamate)
The h directory contains:
sqlite3 - The untouched sqlite3.h file from the official SQLite
distribution
sqlite3ext - The untouched sqlite3ext.h file from the official SQLite
distribution (not currently used)
