[Bug] Issues when copying a png image with Gesturify #420
Comments
I cannot reproduce your issue. I've tested it on several images (for example https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d2/Firefox_Logo%2C_2017.png) Please provide an example image/url. |
Where do you paste the image? I copied the one you provided into PowerPoint and it still shows a black background, but when I copy the image with "right click>copy image" PowerPoint keeps the transparent background. |
Libre Office Writer, Impress and Inkscape. I just changed the copy image command code. Can you please try if it fixes your problem? To do so, just follow the description below.
To revert the change just restart your browser and re-enable Gesturefy. |
I was able to follow your instrucions (received a "Gesturify has been updated" message) but the gesture still doesn't work properly :( |
Unfortunately this has to be a Firefox bug. I just opened a ticket for that. |
Copying png images (with a transparent background) with a Gesturify gesture makes said background black while copying the same image on the right-click context menu keeps the transparent background.
