Sound delay in fps games #256
Comments
i've fixed it ticking the synchronize audio option in the sound plugin BUT now from time to time the sound starts to click and stutter an then it goes away, it comes and go, is weird... |
This issue is very unfortunate, hopefully it can get fixed soon. Has there been any news or communication on this issue? It's easiest to see when shooting a gun in almost any game. The level will start and sound as it should, but after a couple minutes the audio will start to have a roughly 2 second delay. If you complete a mission/level with the delay I've noticed it will typically start the next level without the delay and after a minute or two it will resurface. It seems it may be tied to the glide plugin as well? I will try the "sync audio" as a workaround. Games I have confirmed this issue in: doom 64 |
i forgot about this thread, and also stopped playing rosalie because of this LOL, there was some updates since, i hope is fixed... |
What have you been using in place of RMG? |
nothing, i stopped playing n64 due to having a damn problem in everything, in retroarch glide64 i can't use vulkan, in parallei i can't upscale more than 4x, project64 doesn't have joystick sensitivity option and also have spam in the opening, and this emulator have this sound problem |
I noticed that in fps like Doom 64 or Goldeneye when you press the button to shoot the sound is delayed, this doesn't happen when you start the game but like a minute after... and it starts to delay more and more, how to fix it?? because it ruins the gameplay
