Serilog is a great library and allows you to do powerful logging with little effort. 😊
The Microsoft built-in logger has grown a lot and I believe most projects can happily use that instead.
The most important in both is structured logging, support for various sinks, and additional context to existing logs.

In my experience, we should always use the Microsoft ILogger abstraction interface even when using Serilog, allowing logging platform agnostic. Microsoft abstract logger support almost all of the Serilog features and the API is very similar. 😊
