Virtual-Machine-Installation-for-Linux

This Repository will help you install a Linux distro or any other operating system of your choice.

  1. Install the VMware software from the offical website(https://www.vmware.com/in/products/workstation-player/workstation-player-evaluation.html or https://www.virtualbox.org)
  2. After installing the application, download your Linux distro or flavour
  3. In the VMware software create a new virtual machine
  4. Next browse for your .iso file and click next
  5. Then Select the OS type and version
  6. Next, name the VM
  7. Next, change the data size
  8. Next, click on customize hardware
  9. Change the following --> RAM size depending on your laptop or PC ( Example- if you have 16 Gb RAM then give atleat 6-8Gb ram) --> And CPU Cores (I feel that 4 Cores is enough)
  10. Run the VMware of your OS.
