capital stopped just before the state borders because of the farmer's march,many Delhiites found it tough to reach office and instead worked from home on Thursday, Friday won't
be any better. While services within Delhi will be normal, as it was Thursday, trains in NCR cities will be regulated. Commuters from Delhi will be able to
reach all NCR stations, but able to return using the metro. "I was unable to find even a cab during the peak hour. Mpst of my colleagues also worked from home," said
Kamal Malhotra, a Noida resident, whose office is in south Delhi.</br></p>

<p><strong>Srinagar:</strong> Three terrorists attacked and killed two Territorial Army soldiers on duty on the Srinagar-Baramulla road, near the Sharifabad HMT locality
on Srinagar's outskirts on Thursday afternoon, IGP (Kashmir rang) Vijay Kumar said.</p>
<p>"Initial reports said three terrorists were travelling in a maruti car and two of yhem seriously injured. Both soldiers succumbed to their
injuries", he asid, adding it seemed that one or two "foreign terrorists" were involved.</p>
<p><span class="headline hl6"><span style="color: red">No agreement on Ladakh stand-off</span> <br>India and China are yet to agree on the modalities for the troop
desigagement in eastern Ladakh. Little progress was made after the eighth round of crops commanded-level talks on November 6, making it almost
clear soldiers will remain deployed on the harsh winter.</br></span></p>
<p> Police said there were two militants. They used silencer-fitted pistols and fired from a point blank range at the jawans who were not carrying any arms with them.</p>

the PM said while aadressing the concluding sesion of the All India Presiding Officers' Conference. "why should the country waste so much money?" he asked Modi
urged the presiding officers of differents legislatures to take initiative in this direction.</p>
<p>Mr. Modi was addressing the concluding section of the 80th All India Presiding Officers conference via videoconference.</p>

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> The daily death toll due to covid-19 in Delhi remained below 100 for the second consecutive day on Thursday even as new cases
registered a marginal increase from 5,246 on Wednesday to 5,475 on Thursday.</p>
<p>In the past 24 hours, 91 peple died compared with 99 on Wednesday, the state health department said.
The total deaths have now reached 8,811. Of these, 2,300 took place in November, the highest in a month
till date. June had seen 2,269 deaths due to the viral disease.</p>
<p> The number of daily deaths crossed the 100 mark at least seven times between November12 and 24.
the highest fatalities of 131 recorded in a single day was on November 18. In all, 1,64,556 new cases
have been reported in the past 26 days, averaging 6,329 cases daily. The total tally has crossed 5.51 lakh.</p>
<p> On the brighter said, the positivity rate--number of positive cases amoung those tested - has reduced to
less the 10% over the last two days. Data from the state health department showed that in the past 24 hours, 63,266
people were tested for Covid-19, the highest till date for the city of which 8.65% came posotive. Of the total test conducted, a record 28,897 were done by the
RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat.<br> The city had recorded its highest single-day spike of 8,593 cases on November 11. In all, 6,746 new cases were recorded on Sunday, 4,454 on
Monday, 6,225 on Tuesday and 5,246 on Wednesday.</br></p>

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong>A day after TOI highlighted issue of vacent EWS bead at Delhi's private hospitals, the state health authorities swung into action. Sources
said directions have been issued to private to update the states of vacent beds in real time on the government website so that the beneficiaries can appoach them for Covid-19 as well as non-covid problems.</p>
<p>There are 61 private hospitals across the city that have acqired land at cheaper rates and, accerding to an order by the Suprem Court, they have to reserve 10% of their in-patient
department capacity and 25% out-patient department for free treatment of poor partients.</p>

time to conduct the end-semestor examinations for the secound- and third-year undergraduate and final-year postgraduate student.<br> As the first such examination,
held earlier this year due to Covid-19, was marred with glitches and there are still problems with results, both students and teachers are worried.
The number of students appearing this time will be twice more then the previous one. Du, however, vlaims it is prepared to conduct a smooth examination.
A student can also opt for a physical test in colleges and will have to choose the mode while registering for the examination</br></p>
