No env file or api_key recognised (works in the projects).

So, newbie here. Please can anyone help me? I ran the install on my MacOS, using 'python3 pip install -r requirements.txt'. All seems to have completed with the usual case that some files are installed in '...../Python/3.11/bin' which is not on PATH. It found my existing installation of open 0.27.1 and uninstalled it!

Anyway, it didn't install an 'env.template' file in the Auto-GPT folder. So I copied and pasted from the rep and added my openai api_key (not in quotes). When I run main.py I get an error because no API key provided for open. I am being dense as to how to add the key. Help appreciated.

Hey @toto83fr - after a good night rest and a better interaction with my debugger (GPT)... i'm wondering if there is an issue with the Pinecone API Keys. I've checked my keys multiple times... I made sure I had the most recent version of Pinecone installed... GPT is now recommending getting in touch with the Pinecone support team haha...

@toto83fr - i found a work around... enter these three commands into your terminal:

export OPENAI_API_KEY="your key"
export PINECONE_API_KEY="your key"
export PINECONE_ENV="your environment"

That got me past all of the errors... BUT... now i'm hitting the API rate limit... so on to the next problem...

im not on a mac but if you have the env.template file rename it to just .env and update your keys inside it

I tried for a long time to find a solution:
Type in the terminal:
export OPENAI_API_KEY=your API key
Just re-run the program:
python scripts/main.py
