use steelseries lightning api in c++

Hello, I recently bought a steelseries apex 3 keyboard and would like to write a lightning control program. I am programming in c ++ and would like to know if I can use the steelseries lightning api like the asus aura api. They have a dll for winapi and documentation for it.
