Code of Conduct

As participants in the Louisville .NET Meetup, we want to create a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone. We value the diversity of our community and encourage respectful and constructive interactions among members.

Expected Behavior

All members, speakers, attendees, and contributors are expected to:

  • Be respectful and considerate towards others.
  • Refrain from engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior.
  • Listen actively and be open to different perspectives.
  • Give constructive feedback and support fellow members in their learning and growth.
  • Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of others.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
  • Offensive or derogatory comments, jokes, or language.
  • Personal attacks, insults, or threats directed towards others.
  • Disruptive behavior that interferes with the enjoyment of the meetup for others.
  • Any other conduct that violates the principles of mutual respect and inclusivity.

Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the organizers immediately. You can contact us via chadgreen@chadgreen.com or in person during the meetup.

All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly. We are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our community.

Consequences of Violations

Participants who engage in behavior that violates this Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, including but not limited to:

  • Verbal or written warnings.
  • Temporary or permanent expulsion from the meetup group.
  • Reporting the incident to relevant authorities, if necessary.

By participating in the Louisville .NET Meetup, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and understand the consequences of violating it. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a positive and inclusive community for all members.
