And I feel like an idiot. Turns that that I need to do a 'docker-compose up -d' to get env changes to apply and that a simple 'docker restart recipes' doesn't cut it. |

The "SOCIAL_DEFAULT_ACCESS = 1" and "SOCIAL_DEFAULT_GROUP=user" lines work as advertised for LDAP users.
