Proof of concept and real live usage?

It looks like a promising idea to circumvent the nzb and start a direct download.
For the normal user the usage resembles the usage of a magnet link in the torrent network, I guess?
Is my understanding correct that 3 parties need to make use of the nxg system?

1. upload tool devs
2. uploaders & boards
3. download tools

Is there any movement in one of these sectors? Anything a normal user can do to push this ideas?
As your upper also generates an nzb file I don't see the point of not using / implementing it.
