The Teradata UX team has been very busy the last few months! 🏗️
As an organization we have evolved our UX patterns over the past 6 years and this UI platform has more then served its purpose to drive robust, reusable UI components and tools.
looking to the next phase of UX at Teradata. Our needs to have a maintainable, easy to use web experience has been the primary goal to fueling our latest efforts.
With that we have created a new component library based on our Design System that is built purely with W3C web component standards.
Why Web Components
Moving to web component standards reduces the barrier to entry when building "Teradata branded" products which is at the heart of what the UX team will be supporting and heavily focusing on now and in the future 🚀.
We are looking for some input on how we maintain this current Covalent namespace and repository going forward.
To get a sneak peak at our upcoming web components library please see our new docs powered by storybook - https://covalent.teradata.lol/
