How to assign a shortcut to pause or resume AutoConnect? #6

There are multiple options that I could imagine:

  • Add a global hotkey to the menu item in the menubar
  • Add AppleScript support to the VPNStatus app
  • Add an option to the vpnutil command line tool that would send a distributed notification to the VPNStatus app

It would be also worth checking if the macOS built-in shortcuts settings (System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts) could be used to assign a custom shortcut to the menu items. Something like:
