Hello,
I am currently exploring the BlendedICU database for a study on patient responses after the cessation of continuous neuromuscular blocker infusions. I noticed that both continuous and bolus administrations are marked with a '1' at the start, but there seems to be no clear indication of when the continuous administrations actually end.
Could you provide guidance or update the dataset to include explicit markers for the end of continuous infusions? This information is crucial for accurately assessing the duration of drug effects and subsequent patient outcomes.
Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Shohei Ono

Hi,
I am a colleague of Shohei. Not only the duration of continuous medications but also the form in which a certain medication was administered—specifically, whether it was given orally, intravenously, or continuously—is crucial information for conducting clinical research. However, it seems that this information is not available in the timeseries or even in the OMOP database. Could you please address this issue also?"

Hello,

Thank you both for your inputs.

I agree that at the moment, drug exposure detail is quite limited. I plan to add dosage and route soon, as we also need this for other projects. Getting back to you as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Matthieu

That's wonderful news! However, could you please let us know how long it might take? If it's going to take some time, we may need to try doing it ourselves.

Absolutely, I'll check this week and tell you if I can do it shortly.

Hi, I'm afraid I can't add this on my own in a short timeframe... However if you would like to try it yourselves I will be happy to help and review pull requests !

Hi,
In version v0.5.0, some of this data was extracted into the medication data, but was not standardized/omopized yet (dosage, dosage unit, route)
When specified in the source dataset, the end of infusion was filled in the omop tables.
I hope this might be useful to you, more work needs to be done to have a full omopization of med data.
