Abilitax

Abilitax is a curated learning platform designed to provide a centralized and organized collection of resources for individuals seeking to acquire in-demand skills such as web development, data science, UX/UI, and more. This project originated from the observed challenges faced by learners in finding high-quality resources amidst the vast sea of content available on the internet.

Purpose

The primary goal of Abilitax is to empower individuals in my country and beyond by offering a carefully curated selection of tutorials, curriculums, professional certificates, specializations, and other educational materials. By centralizing these resources, Abilitax aims to streamline the learning process and make it more accessible for anyone looking to acquire valuable skills in the current job market.

Features

  • Curated Resources: A meticulously researched and filtered collection of the best quality tutorials and educational materials.

  • Professional Certificates: Recommendations for recognized certificates and specializations to enhance users' credibility in their chosen field.

  • Blog Page: A blog section providing tips and guides to assist beginners on their learning journey.

Technologies Used

Abilitax is built using the following technologies:

  • React: A JavaScript library for building user interfaces.

  • Typescript: A typed superset of JavaScript that enables robust code and better tooling.

  • Next.js: A React framework for building server-side rendered and statically generated applications.

  • Firebase: A cloud-based platform for building web and mobile applications.

  • Netlify: A cloud platform for deploying and hosting web projects.

  • Tailwind CSS: A utility-first CSS framework for quickly building custom designs.

Challenges Faced

  • Learning New Tools: Adopting technologies like Next.js and Firebase posed challenges but provided valuable insights into modern web development practices.

  • Research: The research process for curating resources was time-consuming but crucial for ensuring the quality of educational materials on the platform.
